You May Feel Done, But God Is Not Done

Read 1 Kings 19:15–18

(15) The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. (16) Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. (17) Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. (18) Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.” 1 Kings 19:15–18

Elijah says, “I’m done.”

God says, “Get up. We’re not finished.”

God gives him assignments.
God gives him direction.
God reminds him he’s not alone.

In other words…

Elijah thought his story was over.
God knew it wasn’t.

And the same is true for you.

You may feel done.
You may feel like you’ve got nothing left.
You may feel like the best days are behind you.

But if God is still working
(And He is!)

You’re not done.

Today’s Question: Where have I started believing my story is over?

Today’s Challenge: Take one small step forward today…even if you don’t feel like it.

Today’s Prayer: “God, even when I feel done, remind me that You’re not. Give me the strength to keep going.”
