God Is Still With You

Read Haggai 1:12–13

(12) Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God… (13) Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: “I am with you,” declares the Lord. Haggai 1:12–13

After sixteen years of excuses...

After sixteen years of delay...
After sixteen years of neglect...

The people finally obey.

And God's response is remarkable.

Not “It's about time.”
Not “What took so long?”
Not “Now prove you're serious.”

Instead, God says:

“I am with you.”

That's grace.

And it's a reminder that obedience isn't about earning God's presence.

It's about responding to it.

The same God who calls you to obedience also promises to walk with you as you obey.

Today's Question:
Do I believe God is for me as I take steps of obedience?

Today's Challenge:

Take the step you've been postponing and trust God with the outcome.

Today's Prayer:
“Father, thank You that Your response to repentance is grace. Help me trust that You are with me as I follow You.”
