Busy Isn't the Same as Faithful

Read Haggai 1:3–4

(4) “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?” Haggai 1:4

The people weren't lazy.

They were busy.

Building houses.
Managing responsibilities.
Taking care of life.

The problem wasn't that they were doing bad things.

The problem was that they were doing good things while neglecting the most important thing.

And that's still one of the Enemy's favorite strategies.

Not necessarily to make us bad.

Just busy.

Busy enough that Jesus gets whatever time is left over.

If He gets anything at all.

Today's Question:
Am I giving Jesus my best or my leftovers?

Today's Challenge:
Move one thing involving Jesus to the top of your schedule today instead of the bottom.

Today's Prayer:
“Father, help me keep You at the center instead of squeezing You into the margins.”

Weekly Memory Verse:
“Give careful thought to your ways.” Haggai 1:5
