Rest Is Spiritual
Read Mark 6:31
(31) Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Mark 6:31

Jesus tells His disciples:
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
That’s interesting.
Because Jesus doesn’t treat rest like weakness.
He treats it like wisdom.
Some of us are exhausted not because we’re doing bad things…
…but because we never slow down long enough to breathe.
And eventually, exhaustion affects everything:
Your patience.
Your joy.
Your relationships.
Your spiritual life.
Rest isn’t laziness.
Healthy rest is trust.
It’s remembering that God is God…and you are not.
—
Today’s Question:
Am I resting in healthy ways or just constantly escaping?
Today’s Challenge:
Take intentional time today to rest with God instead of just distracting yourself.
Today’s Prayer:
“Jesus, teach me how to rest in a healthy, God-honoring way.”
—
