Not Everyone Will Say Yes

Read Nehemiah 3:5

(5) Next to them the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles would not put their shoulders to the work under their supervisors.* Nehemiah 3:5

Most people jumped in.

But not everyone.

“Their nobles would not put their shoulders to the work.”

Some people just said no.

And Nehemiah didn’t chase them.

He didn’t beg them.
He didn’t do his best to convince them.

He simply led the people who said yes.

And that’s important.

Because if you wait on everyone to get on board…you’ll never move forward.

Today’s Question:
Am I waiting on someone else before I step into what God is asking me to do?

Today’s Challenge:
Say yes to something God is prompting you to do…even if others don’t.

Today’s Prayer:
“God, give me the courage to say yes even when it’s not popular or convenient.”

Weekly Memory Verse:
“So we rebuilt the wall…for the people worked with all their heart.” Nehemiah 4:6
