(10) Next to them Jedaiah son of Harumaph made repairs opposite his house… (23) Beyond them, Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs in front of their house… (28) Above the Horse Gate, the priests made repairs, each in front of his own house.* Nehemiah 3:10, 23, 28

Over and over again, you see the same phrase:
“Next to him…”
“Next to them…”
“Next to him…”
Section after section.
Person after person.
Nobody was responsible for everything.
But everybody was responsible for something.
And the same is true to this very day for those of us who make up the church.
We aren’t responsible for making all the ministry happen.
But all of us should be helping to make some kind of ministry happen.
