Faith From Start to Finish
Read Romans 1:17
(17) For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
-
Paul says the righteous live by faith.
Faith begins the Christian life.
Faith sustains the Christian life.
Faith finishes the Christian life.
We are not saved by trying harder.
We are saved by trusting Jesus.
And that trust changes everything.
It changes how we view our past.
It changes how we face our present.
It changes how we think about our future.
The Christian life isn’t about proving yourself to God.
It’s about trusting what Jesus has already done.
And then living every day in light of that truth.
-
Today’s Question: Am I trying to earn God’s approval, or am I living by faith in what Jesus has already done?
Today’s Challenge: Take one step today that requires faith, whether it’s trusting God with a situation, sharing your faith, or obeying something you’ve been delaying.
Today’s Prayer: Jesus, help me live by faith today. Not trusting my effort, but trusting Your finished work.
-
