The Gospel Is Too Good to Keep

Read Romans 1:14

(14) I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.

-

Paul says something interesting here.

He says he feels obligated to share the gospel.

That’s strong language.

Paul didn’t feel pressured by guilt.
He felt compelled by grace.

He knew what Jesus had done for him.

He had experienced forgiveness.
He had experienced mercy.
He had experienced new life.

And once you experience something that life-changing, it’s hard to keep it to yourself.

Imagine discovering a cure for a deadly disease and refusing to tell anyone about it.

You wouldn’t do that.

Not because you’re forced to share it.

But because it’s too good not to.

That’s how Paul saw the gospel.

Today’s Question: Do I see the gospel as good news worth sharing, or just information I believe?

Today’s Challenge: Pray for one person today who needs to experience the grace of Jesus.

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, remind me how powerful Your grace really is. Give me a heart that wants others to experience it too.
