Eager, Not Reluctant

Read Romans 1:15

(15) That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

-

Paul says he is eager to preach the gospel.

Not annoyed.
Not pressured.
Not reluctant.

Eager.

Why?

Because the gospel had changed his life.

When something transforms your life, enthusiasm naturally follows.

Think about the things people get excited to talk about:

A new restaurant.
A favorite team.
A great movie.

Nobody has to force those conversations.

They happen because excitement spills over.

And when the gospel becomes real to you, it starts to spill over too.

Today’s Question: Does my life reflect excitement about what Jesus has done for me?

Today’s Challenge: Share something Jesus has done in your life with someone this week. It doesn’t have to be a sermon. Just tell your story.

Today’s Prayer: Lord, renew my joy in what You’ve done for me, so my faith naturally overflows into the lives of others.
