Following Jesus doesn’t just add new beliefs to our lives. It changes what lives inside of us. In Colossians 3, Paul tells believers to put to death the attitudes and behaviors that belong to the old life, including greed and anger. These patterns don’t just damage relationships; they shape the kind of people we become. Because we have been made new in Christ, anger no longer has a place in our lives, and it’s time to serve it an eviction notice.
