Broken Promises

After leading the people of Israel through a powerful season of renewal, Nehemiah returns to find that compromise has quietly crept back into the community. Spaces that were meant to honor God had been given over to things that didn’t belong there. Nehemiah’s response reminds us that spiritual drift often happens gradually when we stop guarding what matters most. If we want to honor God with our lives, compromise must be confronted and removed.
