Let Them Fly

Parenting often feels like a constant tension between wanting to get it right and fearing we’re getting it wrong. In Psalm 127, Solomon reminds us that unless the Lord is leading the way, all of our effort is ultimately in vain. Instead of trying to control every outcome, we are invited to trust God with what we’ve been entrusted…especially our children. The goal isn’t perfection, but dependence, modeling what it looks like to follow Jesus, even imperfectly. Because at the end of the day, our kids don’t need perfect parents…they need parents who point them to a perfect Savior.
