God Wants Your Whole Heart

Read Joel 2:12

(12) “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart…” Joel 2:12

Notice what God doesn’t say.

He doesn’t say,

“Return to church.”

He doesn’t say,

“Return to better behavior.”

He says,

“Return to Me.”

With all your heart.

Because God has never been interested in simply improving your behavior.

He wants your heart.

Not your Sunday heart.

Not your public heart.

Not the version of you everyone else sees.

All of it.

Because partial surrender isn’t really surrender.

Is there any part of my heart I’ve been holding back from God?

Today’s Challenge:
Spend time asking God to search your heart and reveal anything you’ve been unwilling to surrender.

“Jesus, I don’t want to give You pieces of my life. I want to give You all of it.”
