Freedom Has a Purpose
Read 1 Peter 2:16
(16) Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 1 Peter 2:16

Jesus has set us free.
Free from sin.
Free from shame.
Free from trying to earn God’s love.
But Peter reminds us that freedom isn’t permission to do whatever we want.
It’s an invitation to become who God created us to be.
Real freedom isn’t found in following every impulse.
It’s found in following Jesus.
The world says freedom is doing whatever feels right.
Jesus says freedom is becoming who you were made to be.
And those are two very different things.

Am I using my freedom to serve myself or to honor God?
Today’s Challenge:
Choose one decision today based on what honors Jesus…not simply on what feels easiest.
Today’s Prayer:
“Father, thank You for setting me free. Help me use that freedom to become more like Jesus every single day.”
