A Changed Heart Changes a Life

Read Isaiah 1:16–17

(16) Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. (17) Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Isaiah 1:16–17

After confronting their sin, God tells them what needs to change.

Stop doing wrong.
Learn to do right.
Seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Care for the vulnerable.

Why?

Because real faith affects real life.

Anyone can say the right things.

Anyone can look spiritual for an hour on Sunday.

But when God changes your heart, it eventually changes the way you live.

It changes how you treat people.
How you spend your time.
How you respond to others.

A changed heart leads to a changed life.

Not perfectly.

But noticeably.
