Jesus Wanted the Table
Read Luke 22:14–16
(15) And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” Luke 22:15

Jesus knows exactly what’s coming.
The betrayal.
The arrest.
The suffering.
The cross.
And yet He says: “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you…”
That’s amazing to think about.
In the shadow of the cross, Jesus still wanted the table.
Still wanted the moment.
Still wanted the relationship.
Still wanted His disciples near Him.
Because Jesus doesn’t just care about what He was about to do for them.
He cared about them.
And He cares for us in the same way.

Do I truly believe Jesus wants relationship with me, or do I just see Him as distant?
Today’s Challenge:
Slow down today and spend intentional time with Jesus…not just talking, but being with Him.
Today’s Prayer:
“Jesus, thank You for wanting relationship with me. Help me stop rushing past moments with You.”
