Life Moves Faster Than You Think
Read Ecclesiastes 12:2–7
(2) before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain…* Ecclesiastes 12:2–7

Ecclesiastes 12 is full of images about aging.
Strength fading.
Eyes growing dim.
Bodies slowing down.
Solomon’s point is simple:
Life moves fast.
And the older you get, the more you realize it.
One day you’re graduating.
The next day you’re paying bills.
Raising kids.
Trying to survive another week.
And before you know it…
Life is almost gone.
That’s not meant to scare you.
It’s meant to wake you up.
Because when you realize life is short, you stop wanting to waste it on things that don’t matter.
—
Today’s Question:
Am I living with eternity in mind, or just living for the moment?
Today’s Challenge:
Take five quiet minutes today and ask yourself: “What do I want my life to actually count for?”
Today’s Prayer:
“Lord, remind me how short life really is so I can live wisely and intentionally.”
—
Weekly Memory Verse:
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth…” Ecclesiastes 12:1
