The first Easter morning caught everyone off guard. When Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb, she expected to find Jesus’ body exactly where it had been laid. Instead, the stone was rolled away and the tomb was empty. Shock turned to confusion, and confusion eventually turned into overwhelming joy when the disciples realized that Jesus had risen from the dead. The resurrection wasn’t just a surprising moment in history. It was the moment that changed everything. Because Jesus didn’t just live; He lives. And if that’s true, then His resurrection isn’t just something to celebrate once a year. It’s a truth that calls each of us to respond in faith.
