The Safest Place

Psalm 91 reminds us that when life feels dangerous or uncertain, the safest place isn’t the absence of trouble but the presence of God. The psalmist describes God as a shelter, a refuge, and a fortress for those who dwell in Him. This passage doesn’t promise a pain-free life, but it does promise that God will be present and faithful in the middle of our struggles. Ultimately, the security we long for is found fully and finally in Jesus.
