05. Loving God Over Loving Money
Loving God Over Losing Money
Day Five - February 13th
Scripture:
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil…” — 1 Timothy 6:10
Devotional:
Money itself isn’t evil—but when it becomes something we love, it competes for a place only God should hold. The pursuit of money can slowly replace faith, peace, and obedience if we’re not careful.
Jesus calls us to love God first and trust Him as our provider. When God is our greatest treasure, money becomes a tool—not a master—and contentment becomes possible no matter our circumstances.
Reflection Question:
What does my relationship with money reveal about what I value most?
Prayer:
God, help me love You above all else and trust You with every area of my life.
