02. We Came With Nothing
We Came With Nothing
Day Two - February 10th
Scripture:
“For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.” — 1 Timothy 6:7
Devotional:
This verse has a way of humbling us. Everything we own—every dollar, achievement, title, or possession—is temporary. None of it came with us, and none of it will follow us.
That reality isn’t meant to depress us; it’s meant to free us. When we loosen our grip on what doesn’t last, we’re able to cling more tightly to what does. Eternal perspective reshapes our priorities and helps us live lighter, grateful lives.
Reflection Question:
What am I holding onto too tightly that God may be asking me to hold loosely?
Prayer:
God, help me live with eternity in mind and steward what You’ve given me well.
