01. Enough Is Enough
Enough Is Enough
Day One - February 9th
Scripture:
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” — 1 Timothy 6:6
Devotional:
We live in a culture that thrives on dissatisfaction. Ads, social media, and comparison all whisper the same lie: what you have isn’t enough. But Scripture flips that narrative on its head. Paul reminds Timothy that true gain isn’t found in accumulation—it’s found in contentment rooted in godliness.
Contentment doesn’t mean apathy or lack of ambition. It means learning to rest in God’s provision rather than constantly striving for more to feel secure. When our lives are anchored in Him, we stop chasing gain and start recognizing grace.
Reflection Question:
Where have I been believing the lie that “more” will finally make me feel satisfied?
Prayer:
Lord, please teach me to find my contentment in You, not in what I have or what I lack.
