You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone

Read Psalm 127:1

(1) Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.* Psalm 127:1

“Unless the Lord builds the house…”

That’s where this starts.

Not with better parenting.
Not with more effort.
Not with getting everything just right.

With God.

Because if we’re honest, a lot of us feel the pressure to get this right.

To say the right things.
Make the right decisions.
Raise our kids the right way.

And underneath all of that is this quiet fear:

“What if I mess this up?”

Psalm 127 reminds us of something freeing:

You were never meant to do this alone.

Today’s Question:
Am I trying to carry something God never asked me to carry?

Today’s Challenge:
Take one specific parenting pressure (or life pressure) and surrender it to God today.

Today’s Prayer:
“God, I don’t want to build my life in my own strength. Lead me, guide me, and carry what I can’t.”

Weekly Memory Verse:
