Come to a Person, Not a System

Read Matthew 11:28

(28) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Jesus doesn’t say, “Come to a system.”
He doesn’t say, “Come to a religion.”
He doesn’t say, “Come to a list of things to do.”

He says, “Come to me.”

That matters.

Because a lot of us have been trying to find rest in the wrong places.

Better habits.
Better schedules.
Better systems.

And while those things can help, they can’t give what Jesus promises.

Rest isn’t found in a plan.

It’s found in a person.

And His name is Jesus.

Today’s Question:
Where have I been looking for rest instead of coming to Jesus?

Today’s Challenge:
Before you try to fix anything today, pause and spend time with Jesus first.

Today’s Prayer:
“Lord, help me stop running to everything else and start running to You.”

Weekly Memory Verse:
