All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” (6) He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again. 1 Kings 19:5–6</i><br><br>—<br><br>Elijah is done.<br><br>So what does God do?<br><br>He doesn’t correct him.<br>He doesn’t preach to him.<br>He doesn’t rebuke him.<br><br>He lets him sleep.<br>Then He feeds him.<br><br>That’s it.<br><br>No sermon.<br>Just a snack and a nap.<br><br>Which tells us something we don’t always believe:<br>Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do…is rest.<br><br>Not push harder.<br>Not try more.<br>Not grind through it.<br><br>Rest.<br><br>Because you can’t run on empty forever.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b> Am I trying to push through something that I actually need to rest from?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b> Build margin today…even if it’s small. Slow down, breathe, and rest without guilt.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b> “God, help me stop ignoring my limits. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.” 1 Kings 19:10</i><br><br>—<br>Elijah says, “I’m the only one left.”<br><br>But he’s not.<br>He just feels like he is.<br><br>And when you’re running on empty, your perspective gets distorted.<br><br>You start to believe:<br><br>“I’m the only one struggling.”<br>“I’m the only one carrying this.”<br>“Nobody understands.”<br><br>But that’s not reality.<br><br>That’s exhaustion talking.<br><br>God eventually tells Elijah there are 7,000 others who haven’t bowed to Baal.<br><br>Seven thousand.<br><br>He wasn’t alone.<br>And neither are you.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:&nbsp;</b>Where have I started believing that I’m alone when I’m not?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b> Reach out to one person today and be honest about how you’re doing.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b> “Lord, remind me that I’m not alone. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read 1 Kings 19:4</b><br><br><i>(4) While he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, he came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” 1 Kings 19:4</i><br><br>—<br><br>Elijah just experienced the biggest moment of his life.<br><br>Fire fell from heaven.<br>God showed up in power.<br>Everything went exactly how you’d hope it would go.<br><br>And the very next chapter?<br><br>“I’ve had enough, Lord.”<br><br>Same man.<br>Same God.<br>Completely different moment.<br><br>That’s important.<br><br>Because some of us think if we’re following God, we shouldn’t feel like this.<br><br>We shouldn’t feel overwhelmed.<br>We shouldn’t feel discouraged.<br>We shouldn’t feel like quitting.<br><br>But Elijah did.<br><br>Which means this:<br><br>Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t make you weak.<br>It makes you human.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:&nbsp;</b>Where in my life do I feel like saying, “I’ve had enough”?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:&nbsp;</b>Say it honestly to God today. Don’t filter it. Don’t clean it up.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:&nbsp;</b>“God, I’m tired. I don’t have it all together. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read Matthew 11:30</b><br><br><i>(30) For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.</i><br><br>—<br><br>Jesus says, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.”<br><br>Now, that doesn’t mean life is easy.<br><br>It means you’re not carrying it alone.<br><br>The picture Jesus gives is simple:<br><br>You’re not pulling the weight by yourself.<br><br>He’s right there with you.<br>He’s carrying what you can’t carry.<br>He’s doing what you can’t do.<br><br>And the reason His burden feels light…<br><br>is because He’s the one doing the heavy lifting.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>Am I walking with Jesus or trying to drag Him behind me?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Slow down today. Instead of rushing ahead, intentionally invite Jesus into what you’re doing and follow His lead.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Jesus, I don’t want to carry life on my own anymore. (29) Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.</i><br><br>—<br><br>Jesus says something simple but life-changing:<br><br>“Come to me… and I will give you rest.”<br><br>Which means that some of what you’re carrying…You were never meant to carry.<br><br>The pressure to be perfect.<br>The weight of everyone’s expectations.<br>The need to control everything.<br>The guilt you can’t seem to shake.<br><br>Some of us are exhausted not because life is hard…<br><br>But because we’re carrying things Jesus already said He would carry.<br><br>And no wonder we’re tired.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>What am I carrying right now that Jesus never asked me to carry?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Name one thing you need to release and intentionally give it to Jesus in prayer today.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Jesus, I’ve been carrying things You never asked me to carry. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read Matthew 11:28</b><br><br><i>(28) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.</i><br><br>—<br><br>Jesus starts with an invitation.<br><br>“Come to me…”<br><br>But notice who He’s talking to.<br><br>Not the strong.<br>Not the put-together.<br>Not the people who feel like they’ve got it all figured out.<br><br>He’s talking to the tired.<br><br>The weary.<br>The burdened.<br>The ones running on empty.<br><br>Which means this isn’t a message for people who have it all together.<br><br>It’s a message for people who don’t.<br><br>And if you’re exhausted…physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually…you’re exactly the kind of person Jesus is inviting.<br><br>Tired isn’t a disqualification.<br><br>It’s an invitation.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>Where in my life do I feel the most tired right now?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Name it. Don’t ignore it. Bring that specific area to Jesus today.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Jesus, I’m tired.
