			<title>Walk Like Jesus</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read 1 Peter 2:21–25</b><br><br><i>(21) To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.<br><br>(22) “He committed no sin,<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; and no deceit was found in his mouth.”<br>(23) When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. (24) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (25) For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. </i>1 Peter 2:21–25<br><br>—<br><br>Peter doesn’t leave us wondering what a godly life looks like.<br><br>He points us to Jesus.<br><br>When He was insulted…<br><br>He didn’t retaliate.<br><br>When He suffered…<br><br>He didn’t threaten.<br><br>When He was treated unfairly…<br><br>He trusted His Father.<br><br>And then Peter reminds us why Jesus did all of that.<br><br>“He Himself bore our sins…”<br><br>In other words, Jesus didn’t just give us an example to admire.<br><br>He gave His life to save us.<br><br>And that’s where every godly life begins.<br><br>Not with trying harder.<br><br>But with trusting Jesus.<br><br>And as we follow Him, little by little, we begin to look more like Him.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>What would it look like for me to follow Jesus more closely this week?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>When you’re tempted to react today, pause and ask, “What would following Jesus look like in this moment?”<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Jesus, thank You for taking my place on the cross. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read 1 Peter 2:16</b><br><br>(16) Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 1 Peter 2:16<br><br>—<br><br>Jesus has set us free.<br><br>Free from sin.<br>Free from shame.<br>Free from trying to earn God’s love.<br><br>But Peter reminds us that freedom isn’t permission to do whatever we want.<br><br>It’s an invitation to become who God created us to be.<br><br>Real freedom isn’t found in following every impulse.<br><br>It’s found in following Jesus.<br><br>The world says freedom is doing whatever feels right.<br><br>Jesus says freedom is becoming who you were made to be.<br><br>And those are two very different things.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>Am I using my freedom to serve myself or to honor God?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Choose one decision today based on what honors Jesus…not simply on what feels easiest.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Father, thank You for setting me free. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read 1 Peter 2:11</b><br><br><i>(11) Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.</i> 1 Peter 2:11<br><br>—<br><br>Peter says sinful desires “wage war against your soul.”<br><br>Notice where the battle is.<br><br>Not first with your boss.<br>Not with your neighbor.<br>Not with your culture.<br><br>The battle starts inside of you.<br><br>Let’s be honest.<br><br>It’s easy to blame everyone else for our problems.<br><br>But the person I have the most trouble with is me.<br><br>The person you have the most trouble with is you.<br><br>Every day there’s a choice.<br><br>Will I feed my flesh?<br><br>Or will I follow Jesus?<br><br>One leads to regret.<br><br>The other leads to freedom.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>What sinful desire have I been excusing instead of fighting?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Ask God to reveal one area where you’ve grown comfortable with sin and surrender it to Him today.<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Jesus, strengthen me for the battle within. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<section class="sp-section sp-scheme-0" data-index="1" data-scheme="0"><div class="sp-section-slide"  data-label="Main" ><div class="sp-section-content" ><div class="sp-grid sp-col sp-col-24"><div class="sp-block sp-text-block " data-type="text" data-id="0" style=""><div class="sp-block-content"  style=""><b>Read 1 Peter 2:11</b><br><br><i>(11) Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.</i> 1 Peter 2:11<br><br>—<br><br>Peter begins with an interesting reminder.<br><br>He calls believers “foreigners and exiles.”<br><br>In other words…<br><br>This world isn’t your home.<br><br>Now, this doesn’t mean we withdraw from culture.<br><br>It means we don’t let culture shape us.<br><br>Our values are different.<br>Our priorities are different.<br>Our hope is different.<br><br>So, if you ever feel like following Jesus makes you stand out a little…<br><br>You’re not necessarily doing it wrong.<br><br>Because that’s exactly what Peter expected.<br><br>The goal isn’t to fit in.<br><br>The goal is to faithfully follow Jesus wherever He has placed you.<br><br>—<br><br><b>Today’s Question:</b><br>Am I blending into the world or standing out because I belong to Jesus?<br><br><b>Today’s Challenge:</b><br>Before you leave your house today, remind yourself: “I represent Jesus wherever I go.”<br><br><b>Today’s Prayer:</b><br>“Father, help me remember that my identity is found in You.
